My main interest is in patristics, but that goes without saying. I am also interested in Church history, theology, apologetics, hermeneutics, hagiography, philosophy, art, and music. The theologian in me can’t participate enough when it comes to conversations about the scriptures, seeking always to deepen my understanding. The philosopher in me seeks to find new ways to articulate the faith, and the apologist in me desires to always be informed, that I may skillfully defend the faith against every manner of attack. Like St. Anthony, I seek to be a student that learns and imitates the virtues of every person I meet.

I make a living through freelance videography, animation, and design. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, and composing music.”

“I’m a student of theology (among other things). I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Christian Thought at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary – Charlotte. My focus there has been the Patristic period, specifically looking at how they interpreted the Bible. I’m taking a year off, then hopefully back into the fray with a ThM at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, to continue researching Patristic interpretation.”
